Single Blended Rum

Made predominantly in countries that were colonised by the British, Single Blended Rums are blends that have been distilled in both pot and traditional column stills used for making rum. The two types of rums are then blended at a Single distillery.

The Foursquare Distillery that creates Doorly’s Rum has been voted the best rum distillers in the world for the past 3 years. They take pride in the fact that all their rums are natural and unadulterated. This tasty rum is blended then aged for a minimum of 14 years in once used Bourbon whiskey barrels.

Serving Suggestions: Perfect neat or on the rocks with a twist of orange or lime peel. If cocktails are your thing then try this rum in a Manhattan styled drink with 2 parts Doorly’s, 1-part sweet vermouth and a couple of dashes of bitters.

Tasting Notes

On the nose you’ll find deep aromas of exotic fruits and sweet toffee with a bright ginger note. The palate is rich and layered with vanilla, a bit of almonds, orange zest, and cooked berries. The finish is nicely long with cinnamon, toasted wood and a touch of cacao.
